Finally, here's Neva the Greyhound, formerly a racing dog. We met her about two years ago at SuperZoo in Las Vegas as she visited our booth to review Paper Russells products. Since Neva retired from her profession four year back then, she had two litters, we heard. She was a very elegant mother wearing lavender essential oil at the time, which calmed all of us around.

If anyone knows Neva's mom, please let her know that we're looking for them both. We'd like to give them a little framed print of Neva's portrait illustration that we just completed as a small token of appreciation for being our model.

Burton the Golde Retriever

We want to share another card image of Burton, the Golden Retriever. Jay, Butron's father told us, "Burton is a certified therapy dog and works at the local senior living facilities and Children’s hospitals in the SF Bay Area. All the patients love him and we are going to tell them about your site so they can order cards of him!" -- Thank you Jay. We're happy to share Burton's Golden smiles with our customers, too.

Rocket in SF Union Square

I like people watching at SF Union Square. Everyday, there are so many different kinds of people from all over the world visiting the place. One day, I saw an art fair at the square thinking Rocket would love to do the people watching with me while selling his own drawings.

Monster the Savannah Cat

This is Monster, Savannah Cat, who lives in Park City, UT., in a beautiful mansion on top of the hill overlooking the world famous ski resort. He moves like an elegant ballerina practicing her steps - very gracefully yet very agile. He is very social but will let you know if he doesn't like you in his own Monster style.

Sailing in the SF Bay

It's raining cats and dogs in the mountains past several days and I'm dreaming about the beautiful sunshine and sailing boats in the SF Bay - missing the gorgeous view under the Golden Gate Bridge. - Sep. 14, 2014

Oreo the Parti-Poodle

Jenny talks about Oreo.
"Oreo is 15 months old, and is a female. We found her on the internet, and drove from our home, in So. California, to British Columbia, Canada, to pick her up.
She is very sweet, but still being a puppy, is quite exuberant! Oreo is a Parti Standard Poodle. She has two little sisters, both white, and both toy poodle rescues. Her favorite thing is to run back and forth around the yard; pretending she's a race horse.
If Oreo could talk, she'd tell you how much she likes taking a walk. Wherever she goes, people stop to ask about her, because she's so unusual-looking. She likes to stand on her hind legs, pumping her front legs up and down, when she's excited, which is whenever she sees a human and or, another dog."

Goose the French Bulldog

Nicole shares a story about Goose, a French Bulldog. "I met him at the San Diego Airport after his quick flight from Phoenix. He was so tiny and fit in the palm of my hand. Living in San Diego, one would think Goose likes the beach and the water. No way! He does not even like to get his paws wet! Goose is mostly fond of his orange ball and treats and any affection he can get from humans. In fact, he prefers human companionship to canine companionship and most often just avoids other dogs."

One Bed and Two Beagles

Wanted to share a story about these two Beagles by Laura Isley that my drawing was based on. "...we had to put the older dog, Ziggy (on the left), down due to thyroid cancer. He was only 10 years old. Willis was barely a year old and was with us in the room because the vet wanted to make sure he knew not to look for Ziggy anymore. It was absolutely heartbreaking, but necessary so as not to prolong Ziggy’s suffering. We were lucky to have both dogs together for a year, however, and your drawing has captured an image of them at their sweetest. Willis was only 10 weeks old when we got him last year and introduced him to his new beagle pal, Ziggy. While Ziggy was annoyed by Willis’ puppy exuberance at first, it did not take long for these fellows to bond and cuddle up daily as exemplified by your artwork." - 8/1/2013

Rocket in New York

Whereas it's so noisy in the streets of New York with jam packed traffic, fast walking people, ever changing flashy billboards, car noises, etc., there is surreal quietness on top of highrises as they are so much removed from the ground level.

Here's Rocket went further up to the low hanging crescent to enjoy the starry lights and the lady in the city, Chrysler building.
