From
cold winter days till spring time, these California Quails visit our
house in high mountains in Utah, where we live currently. They usually
come in a group of 10-15 to pick up seeds dropped by little birds from a
bird feeder that we put out. We caution our two dogs not to bother their meal time yet, I'm sure the dogs enjoy their pass time favorite job - bird chasing.
